Both the Northeast, MN WorkForce Center system and the Northwest, WI Job Center system in the Northland provide specific job placement services to military veterans.

Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVERs) can provide veterans with:
  • In-person orientation to programs and procedures
  • Job Search information, sample resumes, cover letters, job search videos, etc.
  • Information and referral to appropriate agencies and services
  • Eligibility determination for special programs and services to employ/train veterans
  • Information on veteran's employment benefits/rights/preferences
  • Case management of Ch. 31 participating veterans
